The city's main dam has the capacity to store 7 million cubic meters of water
Inaugurated in May 1956, the Bortolan dam has the capacity to store an approximate volume of 7 million cubic meters of water.
It is the main dam of the city and one of the most visited tourist spots.
The dam was built in concrete / gravity type and has a measurement of 200 meters. The spillway is of Creager profile with 108 meters in length and maximum capacity of 480m³ / s.
