Quetschentaart
Quetschentaart (also called quetscheflued) could be a Luxembourgish damson plum plum tart that's historically ready throughout autumn, once damson plums are in season. to create the tart base, flour, sugar, butter, salt, and eggs are combined into a firm dough that is then unrolled and tucked snugly into a buttered tart tin before it's finished with slices of contemporary damson plums and baked to perfection.
The tart will optionally be dusted with pulverized vanilla sugar for additional flavor and a nice aroma. A small indefinite quantity of whipped cream, crème fraîche, or maybe a scoop of ice cream go utterly with this sweet fruit tart. Quetschentaart are often bought at virtually any pastry shop, bakery, and eating place within the country, particularly throughout the damson plum plum season.
