Was He 'Bad' or Did He Just Call Out The Wrong People?

It's been 10 years since American icon Michael Jackson passed away and, while some may take this time to reminisce on his life, others are using it to resurrect the accusations that he was a child molester.
Though he's not here to defend himself now, he never really was able to do so, even in life.
Many interviews show he was consistently shushed by attorneys, his deceptively timid speaking voice (in direct opposition to the powerful example heard in his music) perpetually drowned out by the court of public opinion and relentless demonization by those Hollywood outlets with so much to gain financially from his unfortunate situation.
Although I'd grown up with his music, was inspired by his determination, often mesmerized by his physical capability, in a sort of awe by his stage presence, and, to a certain extent even influenced by his fashion, (admittedly, I had a white, faux diamond studded glove, though I never wore it) when he was initially accused I had no reason not to believe his accusers.
The man was a bit odd, it was undeniable. Seemingly obsessed with, and ever-surrounded by children, even said to be sharing a bed with them, it wasn't so difficult to believe that he was perverted.
Still, at least in my opinion, there was a gentle and seemingly genuine innocence in his manner that made any allegations of sexual deviancy seem somewhat absurd. Now that he's gone, and no irrefutable evidence has been produced as of yet, one would feel it safe to assume that the story ended with his presence here.

Evidently, as it seems to be with many assumptions, it would be wrong.

It's almost always lucrative, both financially and for the sake of publicity, to capitalize on the fame of a celebrity, whether they are dead or alive, and Michael Jackson is no exception.
But it seems as though there could be a reason, in addition to money, that one of America’s most beloved and controversial icons, 10 years after his passing, is once again in the spotlight.

Leaving Neverland, the highly anticipated HBO documentary, directed by Dan Reed (we’ll address him shortly) includes testimony from two men who allege that, as children, they were molested by Jackson over the course of years, James Safechuck and Wade Robson who had both previously denied being abused by Jackson, tells the story of a very sinister, manipulative child molester.
Regardless of an opinion on his guilt or innocence, such a production would surely draw a considerable audience and command a hefty income, as well as decent publicity for a struggling choreographer (such as Robson) and a director who has built his career capitalizing on other people’s suffering.

As compelling as their testimony may be, we likely will never know the truth about Michael Jackson and his relationship with Robson, Safechuck, and the many other children with which he spent so much time. But with the release of Leaving Neverland more of us know their names. As well, HBO, Dan Reed, and many others involved with the production have realized an influx of familiarity and income.

Which leads to another issue, not addressed by many, with the release of this documentary.

I’m not a ‘blame the Jew for everything’ person by nature, but the majority of our media and entertainment industry is Jewish run and HBO is no exception.

Regardless of what the news tells you, it’s not ‘hate speech’ to question everything. In fact, in times such as these, it’s essential.
