I did myself the Annapurna trekking during 20 days back in 2013 were WiFi was already everywhere. I loved the trekking and I loved that there was no internet. I have a travel blog and I used to post many times during my trip, but I was feeling somehow relieved thanks to the fact that there was no internet at all. People would gather together and talk all the time while drinking a rice wine, people used to read books, talk to the locals about the mountain or play cards in the little hotels.
Nowadays you get in the lounge of a hostel and everybody is just updating social media or using whatsapp which is SO SAD.
Nevertheless, your picture is cool ;)
Hey @travelnepal thank's for checking out our posts.
I found the tool http://www.steemitworldmap.com/ yesturday and I think you should use it. It's very simple and it's a good way to connect travelers I think
Have a good day (or night depending on where you are)
