struggle for a single drop of water in hilly parts of nepal
Nepal is a beautiful land locked country having population over 27 million.Many part of nepal are not equally accessible due to difficult roads and land structure.Most of the roads are curvy and have sharp turns.And due to this reson the development progress is slow. There are a lot of difficulties to carry out developmental work. As we can see tall mountain from which fresh water of Himalayas comes.The main problem is that the villages are at top of mountain and water remains down there.So people have to carry jerrycan and pot filled with water through steppy hills and have to walk for 3/4 hours.As i have posted the photo which i have taken during i went there for visit.I asked her that she had done same struggle during her pregnancy period also. She walk for 2 hours to get water down the river.She also mentioned that the main problem occur in rainy season the river is over flooded.There is difficulties to find pure water.During rainy season water is mixed with mud.They even dont have filters and other purification system.
Thats why we can say water water everywhere but not single drop to drink.
