While it may be springtime here in Australia now, Autumn is still a very beautiful time of year here in South-Eastern Australia.

These photos were taken back in March (our Autumn).
Both were shot using iPhone 6 back camera 4.15mm f/2.2.
I played around with the colours using my MacBook's native photo editing features. I like to experiment with post-editing and see how I can play with the different colours and light textures in photos.

This one is taken on the south side of Phillip Island, looking West towards "The Nobbies" and Seal Rock. Phillip Island is home to the largest colony of Little (or Fairy) Penguins. They come on shore every night after being out at sea for days, weeks, or even months.

This was taken a few days earlier at the Redwood Forest, just outside of Warburton. The sequoia trees were planted here during the early 20^th Century by the Board of Works as an experiment to see how they could be used for water purification (a large reservoir is located near to here). The symmetry of the trees is unnatural, but it creates a wonderful visual effect. The forest is quiet and its quite a magical place to visit in the autumn.
