Gold Coins Inherited From The Samudra Pasai Kingdom.

Dirham is the currency of the Ocean Kingdom that was used under the leadership of Sultan Malik Az-Zahir.
At that time the Dirham was used as the official royal exchange or money to buy various goods in the midst of society.

During the 13th century AD the Samudera Pasai had developed and became the mecca of the development of Islam in the Malacca Strait.
The currency of the Oceans empire or the Sultan of Malikussaleh, has a dimension of 10 mm, but after two centuries later this currency was added in size to 12-14 mm.

The currency the Ocean kingdom has writings with Arabic letters, on the front of the Dirham is written the name of Sultan Malik Az-Zahir and on the other hand is written the inscription As - sultan Al-Adil.
