Groovy 70s Jeans
When it's a 70s theme party, put together a quick and easy costume with an old pair of jeans and some wild, colorful fabric. I made the pictured jeans for my daughter years ago and might be making myself some for Decade Theme Day at homeschool coop (I'm thinking of going as aging hippie math teacher.)
Simply cut off the old jeans below the knee and sew a gathered "skirt" bottom to each leg. Add a T-shirt and some beads, and you are back in time.
