NeedleWorkMonday & Steemitmamas:: string art contest Mickey Mouse
Welcome to my blog, greetings to our beloved community of #Needleworkmonday and #Steemitmamas. In this publication I worked on string art to participate in the big #Needleworkmonday contest.
Category 2 - Individual Project Entry
For this publication I wanted to choose something eye-catching and what better than the popular mickey mouse that in addition to being eye-catching, pretty, has some contrasting colors ideal for working on string art.
Doing this work was a new and wonderful experience, I really did not know that you could achieve artistic beauties with this art of strings, and my greatest joy is that I could achieve there with my own hands. It took me a bit of time first to see what string art consisted of then see several images on the Internet to visualize how it was the result of this great art, and finally make the decision on my design wanted to do a good job and knew that the contrast of colors as in the crochet weave plays a very important role, and wanted to do something that was striking so when I saw the mickey mouse I said this is what I want to do covers my main ideas, something eye-catching and with excellent color contrast.
Materials
Here are some photos of the process
Elaboration of the drawing on Foami
opening the holes, with a pencil and then with a crochet thread needle
Step by step of the work
The passage of the thread was made to raise from one hole to another to cover the image, the sections were covered in order of color, first everything that carried yellow, then everything red, then skin color, white and finally black color, with which was filled and then delineated the entire Mickey Mouse, to give a better finish and contrast of color to the finished design.

It is really striking the difference adding the black outline and detail makes.
if the color contrast was essential, but the black outline gave it the special touch to highlight the Mickey Mouse.
Te quedo bello, ya sabes que otra cosa regalarle a natascha pero mini mouse..
Wow! That looks great! So much detail. You made a great project choice.
This is definitely eye catching! You accomplished your mission! This is really fantastic work and it looks Fab!! It makes me so happy to hear you enjoyed doing this and now are aware of another needle art you can have fun with ;D
