Joel Embiid Out with an Orbital fracture injury
Joel Embiid will miss two or up to four weeks due to an orbital fracture.
Embiid suffered a facial injury against the Knicks on Wednesday night. Later he was also diagnosed with a concussion. Embiid will be out indefinitely. Embiid ran into rookie Markelle Fultz and fell to the floor holding his head. Couple of games back Fultz returned to the court and now it was unfortunate event that ocurred. Sixers is playing very good ball right now and could have been very difficult opponent in the playoff. Now when Embiid will miss 2 to 4 weeks, it could mean that Sixers will have to try their best to survive first round and not get bounced right away.
Embiid is averaging 23 points, 11 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game right now and is definetly Sixers main player and scorer. Without him Sixers is in great trouble, but hey... #TRUSTthePROCESS. Even if they´ll get bounced in the first round, Sixers is a very young team in the league and they will be top heavy contenders years to come.
