2018 summer will be crazy in NBA. Not only Lebron James but also Kevin Durant, Paul George, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Demarcus Cousins will be free agents after 2017/2018 season. Off course Lebron, as the best player in the world will be the biggest target. We will breakdown 3 teams that we feel have biggest chances to get KING next summer.

Houston “Rockets”.

Then Lebron left Cleveland first time, he joined two perennial all stars: TOP5 player Dwyane Wade and TOP20 player Chris Bosh. In 2014 he joined forces with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. So it wouldn’t be any surprise to see Lebron with MVP candidate Harden and with his good friend Chris Paul. Main goal for Lebron James is to win as much titles as possible and “Rockets” now is a great team (0.768 and 43-13 record), they are real title contenders this year and biggest treat to “GSW” in the west. In order to sign Lebron they would have to trade 3-4 players, important shooters like Ryan Anderson, Trevor Ariza or Eric Gordon so bench would be weaker than this year. But in Houston where would be plenty of scoring, no need for Lebron play 40 minutes and score 35 in order to win, because he would have James Harden (30pts average in last two years) and Chris Paul. Also Mike D’Anthony is great coach, has very good offensive system and Lebron would fit perfectly here. So, I think it’s at least 25% that Lebron will sing with “Rockets”

San Antonio “Spurs”.

What would be better than play for best coach in the NBA? Gregg Popovich and San Antonio “Spurs” are dominant in NBA for last 20 years. In Tim Duncan era they won 5 championships and made the playoffs all 20 years. “Spurs” are showing incredible consistency with Gregg Popovich and even Lebron called him greatest NBA coach ever. This move from Lebron a lot of depends on Kawhi Leonard health. In my opinion healthy Kawhi is TOP5 player in the NBA and alongside with LBJ23 can compete for the title. “Spurs” have Lamarcus Aldridge, they have experience in Tony Parker, Pau Gasol, Manu Ginobili and very good role players: Patty Mills, Kyle Anderson, Joffrey Lauvergne and more. I think this is way more likely to happen than Lebron in “Lakers” or “76ers” because of ability to compete for the title.

Lebron stays in Cleveland.

I think it’s great chance that Lebron will stay with the “Cavaliers”. Cleveland is James home, he started his NBA career in this team and here is his heart. Also, staying Cavs means to play in a weaker eastern conference and easier path to NBA Finals. “Celtics”, “Raptors”, “Bucks” are not as tough to beat as “GSW”, Houston, “OKC” or “Spurs”. Cons for staying in Cleveland are that Lebron already delivered championship to this town and he can leave without any guilt. He also don’t get along with Dan Gilbert, there is lot’s of negatives and uneven relationship there. Otherwise, after trades and getting Hood, Clarkson and Hill they play better and it depends how 2017/2018 season will end. If “Cavaliers” will win title, I think it’s almost certain that Lebron stays in home.

Of course Lebron can join other superstars in Washington, Oklahoma, Milvaukee or even go to Los Angeles, but we think these 3 teams would be best choice for Lebron James in order to compete for championship with “Golden State Warriors”.
