Naujan Lake

The photo was taken after my field work in Brgy. Batong Dalig, municipality of Socorro in Oriental Mindoro. Seeing this scenery makes me think what it provides for the family who leave around the area. From this area, I have 20 beneficiaries whose source of leaving is from the lake.

Yes.., this lake provide them their bread and butter, because of the lake they able to send their children in the school, because of the lake they build their home and because of the lake they are able to provide meal on their table.

But because of the lake, everything they have can be taken away. When their is bed weather condition the lake react. It goes big and reach their home, when that happen it is impossible for them to go fishing. As a result, they cant provide what their family needs.

Our environment give us what we need and it's up to us on how we use it well! Thank you for this opportunity to witness this scenery.
