New Show 'Extinct or Alive' Is One Of My Favorites

in #nature6 years ago

I love animals. I've always been fascinated by them my whole life. Spending time in nature is one of my favorite ways to decompress, but the sights I've seen can never be taken away.

Unfortunately, we know many animal habitats are being destroyed by various human activity around the world.

Science has estimates of how many animals go extinct each year, but there is no agreed upon number.

We know it's a lot.

Forrest Gallante travels around the world to find animals considered extinct. He believes the system to declare animals extinct is flawed and wants to find animals considered extinct to bring awareness to this issue but to also secure funding to protect the endangered animals he finds.

As an animals lover...'Extinct or Alive' has quickly become one of my favorite shows on television.

Nature lovers are already few, on those who harm animals for personal gain, excellent initiative of .'Extinct or Alive ', but I believe that we need government policies that are dedicated to the care and protection of these species.

I do believe one of his goals is to get the government more involved. One of the issue he brings up is the government response to extinction is flawed because the science behind protecting animals and declaring them extinct is flawed. He hopes to bring a better process to declaring an animal extinct AND better processes to protecting animals. With his work...he hopes the government will be able to care and protect for animals better by putting his research into action.

Thanks for the comment.

Love nature nature will protect you and will give back 10 time more what you give.
