RE: Teaching Kids to Care for the Environment Without Loading Them With Guilt

in #nature7 years ago

Great article, you do amazing work with kids. I was in scouts and that is how my love for nature has begun and continued to this day. Children nowadays are too seldom outdoors. They think its boring and its much easier for parents to put them in front of a tv or computer than to take it out of their time to go with them outside. Thank you for everything you do.

Sort:

I saw a kid wearing a t-shirt, a few years back, that said "I went outside, once, but the graphics weren't very good." I know it was meant to be funny, but it was awful.

It's a lot more work to be more involved with your family. It's work that should be done. :) I don't think anyone gets to the end of their life, seeing their end swiftly approaching, and whispers with their last breath, "If only I'd spent more time at work..."
