RE: Teaching Kids to Care for the Environment Without Loading Them With Guilt
Great article, you do amazing work with kids. I was in scouts and that is how my love for nature has begun and continued to this day. Children nowadays are too seldom outdoors. They think its boring and it
s much easier for parents to put them in front of a tv or computer than to take it out of their time to go with them outside. Thank you for everything you do.
I saw a kid wearing a t-shirt, a few years back, that said "I went outside, once, but the graphics weren't very good." I know it was meant to be funny, but it was awful.
It's a lot more work to be more involved with your family. It's work that should be done. :) I don't think anyone gets to the end of their life, seeing their end swiftly approaching, and whispers with their last breath, "If only I'd spent more time at work..."
