LIFE FROM DEATH - ECOLOGY

in #nature6 years ago

¡Hello, Steemit's comunity!

Today I wanted to talk about an issue that is an important part of me, in addition to this I think that talking about it can give you certain ideas that you may want to carry out later and contribute to the cause.

I want to start by quoting something very interesting that I read on a website the day I decided to make the decision to prolong life through nature: "If energy is neither created nor destroyed, it only transforms, according to the law of conservation of energy, we can affirm that death represents only a relative end because we return to nature to continue forming part of the terrestrial ecosystem. The functioning of the great cycle of life we see clearly when we make the decision that our ashes or those of a to be loved serve as a substrate for the growth of another living being, be it a tree or a plant. " source

Let's start at the beginning: I've always had a great affinity with nature, I find it incredible that organically and with no human influence, life can be created so amazing and beautiful; but that fascination, although it was always there, never came afloat through actions, I simply admired nature, but I am not interested in contributing and helping to conserve it, until a certain decisive moment in my life.

The story begins almost four years ago at the hardest moment of my life, my father had just passed away. He was 61 years old and died of a heart attack. That was the worst day of my life because the relationship that united us went through every barrier, beyond a father had a friend, an accomplice. In the middle of the devastation we decided that the most sensible thing was to incinerate his body to have him always close to me, and so it was, but once that decision was made, a light bulb came on and I thought: why not make death another lifetime?

That question made my mind revolutionize and there was no one to take that idea out of my head. A week later I looked for a companion and went straight to a nursery, there I bought everything I needed: seeds and a small shovel (All very economical, by the way). That weekend I went to the mountain that decorates my city (for those who do not know I'm from Caracas, Venezuela and I went to the mountain of Ávila) and with much love I sowed those seeds that were from the national tree of my country called Araguaney and next to the earth mix my father's ashes to serve as fertilizer and help the tree grow big and strong.
That day beyond feeling my father closer than ever and I felt what was watching me from the sky with a smile and tremendous face of pride, for my mind was only the fact that in a way was contributing to something that deserves a little of our attention.
All the photos that I will show you are from my authorship so they can see the evolution of my tree.

In that photo the tree was about a year old, each time it was getting stronger, weekly went to put water, vitamins and rhetorically visit my dad.

Here it is about 2 and a half years old, the trunk becomes incredibly high, even exceeds my height.

Already here is about 3 years and measured, every day grows more and looks more green. It has more life and desire to grow than ever.

For me this was one of the most beautiful decisions of my life. My dad, even in death was part of continuing to create and bring good things to the world. And I think that's what it's about, to give as little as we can to make our stay a little more meaningful.
I open an invitation to do it in the same way, planting a tree you contribute in a very impressive way to the conservation of the environment and leave a safer world for generations to come. If you like in the future I will continue to share the growth of my tree, which I observed with pride and care for the importance that nature deserves.

It has been an honor to share a bit of my story and I appreciate that you have taken the time to read, see you soon!
