La calabazas que quedaban, al estilo que nosotros sembramos, donde las plantas se cuidan solo mientras están pequeñas y luego se dejan crecer libremente sin cortar la maleza y así cargan más, y luego vamos limpiando y sacando las calabazas, ya que las calabazas de esta zona están adaptadas a crecer estilo silvestre, si uno las limpia mucho, no cargan tanto como con este estilo, a mi me quedaban pocas, las dejamos pegadas de las plantas, porque así duran mucho más que una vez que las despegues (un secreto: dejen largo el tallo o rabo de la calabaza, mientras más largo, más duradera será, las que se le corte ese cordón, se debe consumir rápido, porque no duran mucho) vean lo que hizo la candela.
