Pumpkins Galore at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden Fall Display
I toured the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden last week.
They always have a great display of pumpkins and gourds and they have a theme for each fall.
Their theme this year is The Wizard of Oz.

It was a lovely fall day as my daughter and I walked around and enjoyed being outdoors and seeing the display of pumpkins and then viewing the flowers that are in bloom.
The Arboretum consists of 66 acres.
They have several water features in addition to being located next to
White Rock Lake.
White Rock Lake is a reservoir located in north-east Dallas, Texas .
The lake was formed by damming White Rock Creek and completed in 1911.
The water feature is in the foreground and the lake is in the background of this photo.

What a fantastic area. Look at all those pumpkins! My son would be in heaven. Pumpkins aren't so common in Japan, so he is always drawn to them when we visit my folks in Indiana. And I would love the squashes. Yummy.

I went to the Arboretum a few times and always enjoyed it. I could stand to have a pumpkin now. We can't even get canned pumpkin here. I saw some big orange pumpkins for sale last week at our Costco equivalent, but they were $10 each and I thought that was a big much. We have some squash that people treat like pumpkin. Those are some great pics. Thanks for sharing! :) Always enjoy your posts.
