Going GREEN..... PLANTS ;)

I love to have plants in my home... I usually start planting around March... I looked around my house today and didn't see a single plant to tend to. So, tomorrow when my son is in school I'm going to find some plants that can survive in the winter months. Do anyone have any suggestions?
