Peugaga/Centella
Although the soil is rocky, but plants this one can grow. We call these "peugaga", or commonly known in the scientific name as "Centella asiatica".
This plant grows as creeping, no fruit, only a small flowers. This plant grows wild, but can be eaten (edible), and could be nutrients for the human brain. Leaf size even then only amounted to a coin sizes.
Normally, in my place, leaves from this peugaga plant used as a condiment, in very finely chopped, and sprinkled with grated coconut, and coupled with chili, make it taste savory and spicy. Suitable eaten with white rice or eaten just like that (raw).
I found this tree near the highway, somehow this plant can grow, even on the asphalt road though. Try to see the pictures. Later when I had the chance, I will post about the process of making this peugaga food condiment.
According to some sources, this plant is often used as a traditional medicine by the people of China and Africa.
I wonder if this grows in England ok. Great write up thanks @steemvest :)
