Hello, friends here is my new entry on steemit with a new post this post is about Gkowing plants. Yeah friends Scientists created the glowing effect without any genetic modification in plants. If any one want to buy desk lamp that should buy these glowing flowers & enjoy.

Imagine if you are walking into your backyard at mid night and taking a stroll through a green-glowing garden that is look like Avatar movie & also Imagine if these plants are present in your house how will be that moment I think that will be miraculous moment.

These glowing plants developed by Engineers of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) I think this is one of the awesome development.The vision of these glowing plants is to change the desk lamp with plants that will give you dream light in which there is no need of electricity or no need of plugin although these plants will give you light due to their own energy metabolism which is explained by Michael Strano which is a resercher of MIT.

The science behind the glow

To make the plants glow, the nanoparticles used were loaded with the enzyme luciferase and the molecule luciferin, which are basically chemicals at play that allow fireflies in which plants become glow. Male plants give these particles the power to absorb, storing, small pores on the bottom of the muscles to absorb, to sink under pressure by liquid solutions.

So far, this method has been used on every watercress, arugula and spinach with unusual effect. The brightness remains up to four hours only, but researchers hope that their capability is permanent.
