Haha, and I bet you were seen as a bit nutty, rather than responsible! Its crazy to me how the mentality has almost switched to society thinking we have the right to have our garbage be someone elses' responsibility. Now that we're homesteading without garbage service (not a complaint!) I'm so happy that my kids can grow up having to personally deal with any garbage that they generate.
