Animals that can defeat a lion?
Though lions are termed the king of the jungle because of their superiority over other predators but the jungle king can sometimes be bullied or killed by other species of animal..
Here are some animals that can harm/kill a lion;
- hippopotamus : This animal could easily defend itself from a lion and even a group of lions.The hippo has an enormous teeth that can crush a lion with a bite. Hippos are very strong and fast to attack a lion.
- Giraffe : Girraffes have a powerful kick that will damage crutial bones in a lions
body. They can also harm/kill a lion by swinging their long necks like a golf club and giving a very hard hit(strike) on the lions body which can injure bones and organs..
- crocodile : Crocodile can harm/kill a lion when the lion comes close to its habitat(water bodies) .. It strong teeth can crouch a lion.
- African Elephant :They are the strongest creature on land. They can fall big trees. A charge from an elephant scares lion. They may not kill the lion but they can defeat a lion when threatened.
Other animals that can defeat and cause significant damage to lions include buffalos, ostrich , porcupine,hyenas, tiger, bear, humans. e.t.c
