Lichen

While taking my dog on a walk, I found two pieces of lichen that had fallen from some branches. After looking it up, I believe they are both types of fruticose lichen, which are characterized by a 'bush' shape and that they are attached to the tree at only one point.

I planted them with my fern and they get misted every day. It is great to see them open up with the water. You can see some of it in this video!
