Growing Jute Plant for the Festivals.

jute is a long and soft vegetable fiber which can be spun into coarse strong threads. burlap and hessian a gunny cloth is mainly made from jute fiber.
but there is an important and significant role of jute plant in Indian festivals. i am growing these plants in a small old bucket . now these plants are ready to be taken to the garden where there is enough soil for the plant to grow.
in some parts of our country there is an old tradition to burn these jute sticks[ made from the jute plant stem after peeling the fiber] at home and to take those burning sticks to a far place from the house and let it burn there.it is said that by doing this in the day of dussehra festival all the evil and negative energies will leave the house and there will peace and prosperity at the home.
