Petrified Forest National Park

This winter we took a little vacation to the Petrified Forest National Park.

This is one of the smallest parks that I have ever been to. However, if you take time to take in the beauty you will be enamored with it all. Unfortunately, the local town has taken a good portion of the actual petrified wood from the forest. We were unable to find anything but the massive pieces of wood that you see below.
