One World - Crand Canyon 1
A couple months ago I was living in the USA and one of the most important things to me was traveling during my free time. With so many awesome national parks I had enough places to go to and to hike. When I visited the Grand Canyon in July I was stunned by its size and the whole magnitude of the landscape! It's incredible how deep and wide it is. Here in Europe there is no place like this!
Since it was summer and I already got very sun burned once that year, my friends and I put on some sun screen first. Afterwards we started our way down, towards the bridge you can see here.
That picture was actually taken half way down and at that point we were taking a break! But we continued, more on the further way down in my next post ;)
On our way towards our first break we had some awesome views! Here for example you can see a lonely tree at a small cliff. Almost falling over but thanks to those thick rods he stands and makes an impressive competitor to the Leaning Tower of Pisa :D
One more thing that nobody of us expected:
It was so green! Mostly at the beginning but also half the way down! I mean it was 38°C and really, really dry. We didn't expect to see anything! It is such an amazing thought that live is possible to endure almost any challenge and find ways to survive during dry time and store the precious water for many weeks without rain and just dry heat! That is one of the reasons why I love to travel, you can see all these amazing things and start thinking about live and how it can be so fragile and at the same time it is strong and endures so much.
Thanks for reading! Just leave a comment with some tips, I really appreciate any critic, since there is always room to improve my posts ;)
