The Enchanting Black Ant Falls... (Sinulom Waterfalls)

Sinulom got its name from the Visayan term "sulom" meaning "black ant". It was discovered by the residents in year 2002 and became the newest addition in Cagayan de Oro’s tourist spot.

According to tales, a very long drought happened long ago. Most of the water sources dried up. In search for water, people packed like ants to this consistently flowing waterfalls to meet their needs.

Sinulom Falls is very enchanting and unique, consisting more or less 30 small water falls popping out from the grassy and mossy cliff. The height of the highest cascade is around 30 meters. It is really cold and refreshing. It is also safe for drinking.
