Layers of Blue
A shot of the sky featuring a broad spectrum of blue shades, transitioning from light near the horizon to deeper hues as it stretches upwards. White contrails from aeroplanes not only visually cross the sky but also add a sense of dynamism, reminding the viewer of the passage of time and hinting at an aircraft flying high above the earth.
Thin, barely visible cirrus clouds add texture and depth, appearing almost transparent and giving a light, airy quality to the overall scene, softly diffusing the sunlight. These clouds, often seen at high altitudes, are typically associated with stable, clear weather. The sun is not in the frame, but judging by the brightened sections of the clouds, it is casting light at an oblique angle, perhaps in the early morning or late afternoon. This angle softens the light, creating a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
