FROZEN BEAUTY
A bit of an ice storm in Springfield, MO right now.
We were up visiting some friends today, and suddenly it started to sleet and hail outside. Some of the @little-peppers considered trying to play out there, but it was too cold and wet.
Once the sleet and hail and rain stopped, I grabbed the camera to try to capture a few interesting shots of the frozen rain on the plants and flowers outside. Here are a few of my favorite clicks.

really unfortunate. the beauty of the hail causes some bad foot against the beauty of the others. this is an unavoidable law of nature. interesting post @papa-pepper

That's got to be disruptive to the plants that have already started to grow. It's strange when Spring seems to have come for good, then more snow. The weather can be so predictable.

That camera of yours is taking real nice clear pictures. Is that a special lens for the close-ups?
