Why nights are beautiful ☆
You've definitely been outside at nighttime, so you must know how mesmerizing and totally different everything seems comparing to daytime. I can't argue that many cities and natural places look stunning during daylight hours but once the night has fallen and the lights come on everything transforms into something very different from what we are used to see all the time during the day. We see things illuminated differently, the way we didn’t see them before. We are not used at being active at nighttime thus making this experience truly unique and mesmerizing.
So what's so different in the dark that the night looks so attractive? I think it's the light which is so brighter and so much more noticeable because of the contrast with the darkness surrounding it. It is only in the dark where the light can really shine. We are not the only ones attracted to the light. Animals enjoy being near the light sources aswell as it emits warmth and associates with safety. Even moths, flies and many other flying insects come to admire its beauty and fly into every little source of light. Well, it's not a real reason why they behave like that but at least it could be interpreted beautifully :)
Night does not only look different, it also feels different. When the silence and emptiness of darkness take over, it leaves a feeling of tranquility which is not only perfect for a peaceful rest but also an amazing opportunity to release your inner creativity. The expanse of night is thought-provoking, it clears your mind and strengthens your memories. Have you noticed that craziest and most exciting ideas come just before your head hits the pillow? Sadly, the next morning those bad guys like laziness and duties push all the joy and motivation aside. That's why some people choose working at night instead of usual working hours.
If you rarely be outside at night, then I highly recommend you to admire its beauty more often. The night can be fascinating, delightful and gorgeous, don't miss a single chance to see and feel it.
I like the night. Without the dark, we’d never see the stars. – Stephenie Meyer
