The immeasurable beauty of Nature
Nature is a storehouse of joy and pleasure. It is an everflowing fountain of divine beauty. It is a friend, a guide and a nurse to man. It has a healing touch of its own. A ruined body or a broken heart find a lot of comfort and consolation in the lap of nature. Nature provides a man with fresh energy and a new vigour. Nature is the manifestation of the divine and it is full of beauties and blessings of humanity. The flowing rivulets, the sounding cataracts, the dancing winds, the smiling flowers and the lofty mountains are only some of these beauties. Nature can fill our lives with real joy, goodness and happiness. To a lover of nature, every object, of nature is as much living as any human being. That is why Wordsworth wrote: "there is a spirit in the woods".
Nature is so beautiful that I can hardly believe that it exists. The beauty of nature can always have a profound effect on our senses. When we think of beauty in nature, we may most immediately think of things that dazzle the senses. The prominence of a mountain, the expanse of the sea, the unfolding of the life of a flower. Often it is merely the perception of these things itself which gives us pleasure and this emotional or effective response on our part seems to be crucial to our experience of beauty.
When we see the leaves budding on a tree or when a timid flower pushes through the frozen ground, or when we smell the freshness of spring, new hope always come to us.
Nature is truly an intrinsic part of our lives. It is responsible for the sun, clouds, rain and snow. When it is sunny and bright outside, we feel cheerful inside. When it is cloudy and rainy, we often feel gloomy. When there is a beautiful and staring night, the moonlight makes us feel romantic. Nature can magically transform a familiar landscape into a snow-white wonder land. Nature can paint a rainbow in the sky, paint beautiful autumn colors on trees, or paint a clump of daffodils in the grass with glow of soft sunlight. When we wake to see sunrise, when we walk and feel a breeze, when we gaze at mountains and the slender of seas, when we witness the earth renew its beauty at each season of the year, and when the stars shine at night we are marvelled by such an extra ordinary beauty. Nature is valuable because it is beautiful.
Learning to become more aware of nature can truly have a good effect on our lives in the way we see things and in the way we feel about ourselves.
Sometimes I stare at the sky and wonder why we have made such mess of things. I wonder why we tear up the seas and use up the trees all in the name of progress. It is such a tragedy that we are damaging things so fast and they will be way beyond repair. It is very sad to think future generations will not have the natural things to enjoy as we have had, and that they will be paupers when it comes to the offerings of the natural world.
We should please preserve nature and appreciate it.
"Watch nature, because it is your greatest teacher. It moves and flows and moves on again. There is an incredible beauty out there in the mountains, in the forest, to teach you it's silence, it's beauty and it's humility". Stay aligned to that.....
