BLUE WHALE WASHES UP ON CHILE BEACH,PEOPLE TAKING SELFIE WITH IT AND SCRAWL GRAFFITI ON IT

chile has become the epicenter of dead whale sightings.in 2015,more than 337 whales were found beached. The carcass of a giant blue whale that washed up on a beach in chile has been marked with footprints and graffiti from vandals taking selfies with it. The dead carcass was discovered on the beach of punta arenas in the magallanes region of southern chile. The huge 66 feet whale caused an uproar among locals after it was found on the shore line.There were pictures showing how the marine mammal had been stomped upon by those wanting to take a selfie.Footprints could be seen on the whales back, there was also ascrawl "Ana I love you" on its flank. Tha whale has now been taken by chilean authorities to discern its cause of death with initial report revealing that the mammal could have been ill or possibly following collision with a ship.although there were no physical injury. According to National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service Biologist Gerardo cerda,there has been a rise in recorded cases of beached whales on the coast,which is not normal. However this year's dead whale sighting paled in comparison to the 2015 sighting in which the coast of southern chile has become a graveyard for 337 sea whales,that were found beached.
