Manakin birdspecies in the Brazilian Atlantic forest

For the past months i'm staying with my girlfriend in the Brazilian Atlantic forest just south of Sao Paulo. We are spending our days taking walks, exploring the natural world, internetting and luckily things are still more then fine between us.

On one of these walks, just sitting on a branch above the walking path, i spotted my first manakin.

I remember these birds from wildlife documentaries and seeing first one, then more in the wild was an exciting feeling.
