Massachusetts Bay Fishing.. Monster Lobsters
The day of a commercial fisherman generally starts at the dock around 4:30 am. Yes, it is early, but who else gets to see the sunrise every morning?
Beverly Harbor, MA
The steam out to the fishing grounds generally takes a couple hours, the crew sleeps, while the captain sips his coffee.
Although it's a long grueling haul, sometimes the first trap coming over the rail makes it all worth it.

It's not very often you get lucky twice in one day!
24 pound cull.
Commercial fishing is one of the hardest, most dangerous jobs on the planet.. but it's days like these that make it all worth it!
