Happy eyes

I went into the woods and found this stream embedded in concrete. It was very confusing. Why was this necessary? Was it civilized long ago? More than anything, my eyes felt happy recognizing symmetry. I tried to capture symmetry, but alas this was the best I could do. Thank you for stopping by.
