Antelope Island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake

Antelope Island, just north of Salt Lake City and surrounded by the Great Salt Lake, is an awesome, peaceful escape and has some of the most beautiful animals that you can see pretty up close and personally! These photos show just a small sample of wildlife that can be found there. The bison (over 500 in the herd), pronghorn deer, and coyote shown are also accompanied by porcupines, bobcats, badgers, bighorn sheep, and a large variety of both shore birds and birds of prey. I truly love this place and highly recommend it if you are ever in Salt Lake City!
