Check out some of the tiny
beauties of summertime
at the lake!

Welcome to another nature photography blog with @Ma1neEvent.

It's June 2018... and I am trying to spend as much time as I can at the lake. I have a small cottage that is nestled deep in the wilderness, and is a wonderful place to see nature. Being outdoors is very relaxing for me... and I also love to take photos while I am there!

We have planted many new flowers around the cottage... and the bees and butterflies have been loving it! This beautiful Monarch Butterfly came over to check out these new purple flowers... Isn't it beautiful?

I just love watching them float around checking out the flowers.

Here are a few of the flowers they seemed to like...

Another creauture enjoys the flowers as well...
The Humming Birds!

There were a bunch of them constantly checking out our humming bird feeder. They are really fast, and hard to get photos of... but I managed to get a few decent ones to show you on Steemit!

Aren't they awesome looking for being such tiny birds?

This one had a bright red neck area...

This one was green without the red neck...

Do you get to see many butterflies or humming birds where you are in the world?

I love seeing these tiny creatures that are both beautiful, and amazing creations. It's wonderful to be able to see these cool moments in nature, and share them with you here on the Steem blockchain. I hope you enjoyed these nature photos... let me know what you think of them in the replies below.

Such a gorgeous series of shots isnt nature magical

Yes for sure, I'm glad you enjoyed these nature photos!

Well, yes. Twice per year we have the Monarch butterflies on their migratory path. They are magical!

And during the winter we have thousands of hummingbirds of all colors and types. They are also migratory and this is 'snow bird heaven' for some of them. We have some permanent residents, but the winter is spectacular.

Thanks for a great post.

glad you enjoyed the photos Tom! Thanks for checking in.

good photo I have not seen a flower like this, whether it is a picture of the results of your camera

These are some of the wonders of Nature that we don't get to see very often. I grew up surrounded by flowers, butterflies, and birds. Too bad that's not the case anymore. The hummingbirds in your pictures are just amazing! Thank you for sharing these gorgeous pictures.

Very beautiful.

Awwe beautiful. It was chilly this Spring where I live and have barely seen a butterfly.
