Nice. Im living in the west coast of Japan in Niigata, not too far from this area. We too get loads of snow over here, unfortunately most winter days are rather cloudy and grey.
My home country Germany gets much colder in winter but we get quite some days with a shiny blue sky
That's awesome, do you teach English over there? I'm trying to find a way to live there other then teaching English. I have visited before but I would love to move to Kyoto. Japan is the best place in the world!

Japan is great but I can't consider it the best place of the world. After living here for a while you notice all the things that are wrong here
