More Ants or Humans?
I realize that there are more ants than people on our planet, but how many more are there? Ten times more? A hundred times more? A thousand times more? Or more?
Many scientists have already been involved in making an estimate of the number of ants on Earth. And what do you think, the estimated numbers vary enormously. In a lot of literature the estimates are followed by a certain Wilson, the man is a biologist and myrmecologist (ant expert) who is very highly regarded in the scientific world. He says that there are 1.6 million ants for every human being on earth, so this is quite a lot. Mr. Wilson goes even further and claims that the total weight of ants is about the same as the total weight of people living on our planet. Other researchers have different numbers, some less, others more, the fact is that there are a huge number of ants on our planet.

Would you give your life for a completely random person? Most likely not, because people are not like that. But ants do. The 'Forelius pusillus' ant buries its colony every night to protect it from enemies. The ants working on the outside sacrifice themselves and die.

Ants are able to teach other ants something. Ants are smart, inventive, able to adapt, are patriotic and have billions.
