Sneaky Boye at Everglades National Park

While visiting Everglades National Park down in Southern Florida, we saw many different varieties of life. From graceful birds to stoic alligators, not once were we by ourselves.

Here's a photo I took of an alligator slowly making his way across the water. I was standing above him on a wooden deck, and even then a little bit of fear ran through me as he passed close by. They carry a surprising amount strength; even the smaller ones can be incredibly dangerous.
