Amalfi Coast and Mount Vesuvias

I recently traveled to the Amalfi Coast in Italy for a bit fun in the sun.

We stayed in a beautiful little town called Vico Equense

One of the coolest things we did was climb Mount Vesuvius

Mount Vesuvius is a Volcano in Italy best known for its eruption in AD 79 that led to the burying and destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, as well as several other settlements.

I actually managed to snap some pictures of a guy they dug up in Pompei.. RIP

Everywhere we went we could see the Volcano. It loomed through the clouds across the water.

After a couple days of lounging around we decided it was time to climb this bad boy.
