I must confess that as "take it or leave it" as I am about myself in general, I do sometimes look around to see if there is anyone within view as I visit with my tree friend. I am self-conscious about being judged as a "tree hugger," as if that was something crazy. But it is so natural and so good. More of us most dare to be seen being in healthy balance with nature, so that we can help normalize it.
