RE: Feeding Time!!! Time to feed the scorpion :-).
Howdy Jonboy!
Right now I'm only feeding him crickets because the weather is too cold. Or else I would just bring home some worms or other bugs I see crawling across the bike trail. Once Spring gets here I'm sure the bugs will be out crawling around again I won't have to feed him crickets.
Have you got stung yet? How long do they live? You might not have to worry about catching him food.
Yes I have been stung once. It felt no worse than a pin prick. It hurt as bad as getting your finger pricked like when giving a blood test. That's it. There was a little tingly numbness that lasted maybe 15 to 20 mins. After that it went away. All that was left was a tiny red mark where I was stung. I might as well of been stung by a wasp. It felt no different really.
I do still plan on making a video but I will need some assistance before I do.
Oh very interesting. I heard that it hurts like crazy but maybe you're tougher than the average maniac out there letting themselves get stung by scorpions! lol.
I guess it depends on the breed of scorpion that stings you really. I would imagine getting stung by the emperor scorpion would hurt a whole lot worse HA HA. Gorax is tiny. Maybe 2 and a half to 3 inches long if you stretch out his tail all the way.
Yeah that makes sense Rainbow Man. That sounds a little small for you, do they have any others around there that are bigger?
Nope, this is the only scorpion found in Arkansas believe it or not.
