Sinabung Volcano, Indonesia 

Sinabung volcano is one of the most dangerous active volcanoes present in Indonesia.it is situated in Karo plateau of Karo Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia and has been responsible for the evacuation of 10000 native people from their homes.

Valley of Death, Kamchatka, Russia 

This valley was discovered in 1975. It was observed that a lot of animals have died in this area. The animal deaths were due to the high concentration of poisonous volcanic gases. People are advised to avoid this area.

Mount Washington, USA 

The height of the peak is about 6288 ft. and it’s the highest peak in the northeastern part of the United States. It's cold weather throughout winter and unpredictable weather conditions in summer are well known, yet it is more famous for its stormy weather. The wind speed here is highest recorded anywhere in the world, about 327 km/hour. 

Afar Depression, Ethiopia 

Afar depression or afar triangle is a landscape caused by the Afar triple junction. These tectonic plates are the reason for the constant small earth quakes in the area. It is one of the hottest places on earth and has very little rainfall around the year but still flourishes from life as many species of birds can be seen here.

Bikini Atoll, The Marshall Islands

From its name, it sounds like a wonderful place but it’s the quite opposite. This atoll consists of 23 islands and was the site for 23 nuclear tests. These nuclear test resulted in high levels radiation, making it into a wasteland. The natives of these islands were forced to abandon their homes as the radiations are hazardous for living organism.
