Alpinia Purpurata / Ginjer Rojo
Today I want to share with you some more of the beautiful plants of my grandmother's garden.
This is the alpinia purpurata, this plant is humid and shadowy although it can tolerate the sun.
It is originally from Polynesia. This plant expands a lot, of course if it always stays hydrated.
Its leaves and its flower are also used to make floral arrangements and in other parts of the world it is a medicinal plant and even the leaves use it to wrap food.
