I have only met one person from Bulgaria. This was many years ago and he was always telling me how pretty it was there. Your photos sure show that - they have lovely colors in them. I am not one for caves either, but it's so interesting about the tree. I wonder how long it will stay fresh. When I got live trees for the season, they were dead and shedding needles in less than a week!
