Earthquake in the UK

There was an earthquake in Swansea today measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale. I felt the tremor in Cardiff which is about a 40 minute drive away. First one I've ever experienced so after I immediately contacted friends and family just to confirm my suspicions. One thing that has stood out is that today's one was 8 million times smaller than the one experienced in Japan in 2011. This one was so small but managed to shake the house I can barely comprehend the magnitude and the worry of what the 2011 was like.....
