Off To Pick Blueberries
I am in the countryside and the wild berry season is starting, so I decided to go pick some berries for a pie I'll make later today. Bilberries, or European Blueberries, (vs. blueberries that grow in the supermarket) grow right at out back yard, aka the forest, and this year the weather has been very favourable, and it's literally easy pickings. It took me maybe 30 minutes to almost fill my little bucket, then I walked around for an hour and a half more, trying to find some chanterelles also, but I had no luck with those.
But I did get my bilberries for the pie and then started walking back home.

Yeah, roger that. I go hunting and stuff a lot so seem snakes all the time. Never meet one I wanna be buddies with. Hate the fuckers. We got some stone cold killers here too.

I would hate Australia, so many killer creepy crawlies. The snake I pictured is kyykäärme and it’s the only poisonous one we have, and only very rarely deadly to anyone.
Yeah, many say that about Australia and still they arrive in droves because it's fucking awesome. We have some deadly shit here though. Snakes are just the beginning. Been here all my life and haven't been killed by anything yet though. Must be reasonably safe.

You live quite far up in the north right? Should have similar forests in there too, I’d assume!
Not too much wild berries or fruit around here, I would have to travel up more to Maine. I bet they taste much better when you pick them yourself

The apples are not done yet, will take at least month until they are ripe 😝
