The Art of Google Earth - Part 1 -- TEXTURE

There's beauty to be found in everything if you have the right perspective, but sometimes you need to gain a certain point of view to see it. Things can look very different from way up in the sky, looking down upon the Earth...

This series was inspired in part by the Chrome extension "Earth View" from where these amazing images are found. I hope in this collection of blog posts featuring many of them will also inspire others as it has me. Satellite imaging allows us to see the world like never before possible. There's a universe of drama, fantasy, magic, in a multiplicity of form and texture, as vast, complex and beautiful as our own minds.
