Giving Back to Nature | Ozone Layer is Becoming Thinner Day-By-Day !!!

I recently read that the ozone layer is becoming thinner day-by-day and this caught my attention. I started pondering over it.

The ozone layer is becoming thinner everyday and maybe a time will come when there will be no ozone layer at all. Life would then become impossible on Earth. Even if life remains possible, it would be a very restricted type of life. Maybe people wouldn’t be able to go out. Maybe they would have to remain at home all the time because if they did go out, the sun's harmful radiations would bring them closer to their death.

But the main question is, why is the ozone layer becoming thinner? It is due to our want for more and more comfort. Day-by-day we are using more and more refrigerators, air- conditioners, etc. The CFCs destroy the ozone layer. Once depleted, the replenishment of the ozone layer is a difficult process. So, is it not better to limit our luxurious needs as much as possible to protect Mother Nature for the survival of the earth and to enjoy the comforts for a longer time?

Mother Nature, with full generosity of spirit, is lying with her arms wide open to give us all we want, but we, in turn, are destroying her. Isn't it sad that we get back more than we give? But, why is Mother Nature not getting enough care from us? I think it is the duty of everyone who lives on this earth to protect Mother Nature, to see that a situation does not arise where life will not be possible on this planet. I hope that we realise that we have to save Mother Nature to be able to live and take care of the ecology of this Earth.
